Skip to content The porpoise is the world’s smallest species of whale. One of the most concentrated populations inhabits the Little Belt Straits.
Keep your eyes peeled as soon as you leave the harbour. You may be fortunate to spot porpoise close to the harbour. If not, keep a watchful eye for movements on the water surface as we sail in the straits. We can almost guarantee that you will spot porpoise on our tour. We sail in accordance with Naturpark Lillebælt’s code of conduct and take great care not to disturb the porpoise, always approaching them at low speed.
In addition to porpoise, there are also many opportunities to spot seals in the Little Belt Straits.
